How a game of Tasted works

What's in the box.

R365 + delivery gets you two sealed mystery wines and the game, for 2 to 10 players. Each bottle is wrapped, so nobody knows what they are.

Take the wines out.

Open the top and take out the two wines in black wraps, numbered 1 and 2.

Step 4 of 13

Open wine 1, keep it hidden.

Cut the top off the wrap and unscrew the cap. The label stays covered while you pour a taste for everyone at the table, so everyone smells and tastes the same wine.

Join on your phone.

2 to 10 players, each on their own phone. Everyone joins the game with the code.

Answer with the glass in front of you.

Your first question is an easy one. What colour is the wine? Tap the colour that matches your glass, then lock it in.Tap the colour that matches your glass.

Each wine has seven questions about its colour, aromas, taste and character, with a scoreboard after each answer. Answer at your own pace, or press Next to skip ahead.Six more questions, with scores after each answer.

Meet Blue Canary.

The wrap comes off: Blue Canary Syrah 2022 from Minimalist Wines. Now you can put a name to the wine you tasted.

Pour wine 2.

Finish your first taste, open bottle 2 and pour for everyone. Keep the label hidden while you taste.
